I recommend trying another of Lorraine Heath's books such as the Scoundrels of St. References to the other would have been just fine. Most all of the heroine's family who accompanied her to England except for maybe the step-Dad. What character would you cut from Love with a Scandalous Lord? The female lead character came off souding about 12 years old. I cringed frequently being a native, 7th generation Texan myself. The Texas voices came off a bit strained and kind of hick and corny as if she were trying too hard. Her English voices were fine and her narration as well. What didn’t you like about Robin Rowan’s performance? This book seems like it may have been written before Ms. I have listened to many other books of this genre and several from Lorraine Heath and have loved them. Has Love with a Scandalous Lord turned you off from other books in this genre? Those who can make it through the first half of the book will probably find the second half more enjoyable. Perhaps those with a preference for western romances and who are fans of Robin Rowan. This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
